Dr Ellie Knight

Dr Ellie Knight grew up in the UK and moved to Perth with her family in 2007. She completed high school at Perth Modern School, before graduating with Distinction from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2019 DMD(Dist) (UWA), BSc(Dist) (UWA). 

 

Dr Ellie enjoys building trusting and long-lasting relationships with her patients and their families, by providing gentle, pain-free, personalised and comprehensive dental care in a comfortable environment. Dr Ellie is great at making children feel relaxed at the dentist and excited for their next visit. 

 

She provides all aspects of general dentistry to suit the needs of her patients, including emergency, preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, along with all other dental fields. Her goal is to help her patients improve not only their oral health, but also their overall wellbeing and self-confidence.

Dr Ellie enjoys attending professional development courses and seminars to learn about new dental techniques and technologies, to provide the best treatment outcomes for her patients.

Over the past few years, Dr Ellie has worked at private dental clinics in Perth’s Northern suburbs. She has also worked in public government dental clinics in Warwick, Nedlands and Bunbury. She is passionate about volunteering her dental skills and knowledge to help Perth’s homeless and disadvantaged, through the Australian Dental Health Foundation (ADHF) and the Healing Smiles program run by the Women in Dentistry group.

Dr Ellie holds professional membership with the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

In her spare time, Dr Ellie loves outdoor activities and enjoying the sunny Perth weather with friends and family! She has also helped foster and raise 3 gorgeous Guide Dog Puppies as a volunteer with the Association for the Blind of WA. Dr Ellie also enjoys keeping healthy and active with group fitness classes and cycling along Perth’s beautiful coast. She loves the ocean and nature.
